Welcome aboard Chao Lay

She is a lovely 3 cabin solid bluewater cruiser. Exactly what is needed to live up to Her name which is Thai for “Sea Gypsy”. She has a bright and well-ventilated interior.

She is an ideal base for a sailing holiday, or for getting to grips with the RYA sailing course of your choice.

You chose whether to participate in sailing or relax and enjoy the passage. Accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with each cabin having en-suite heads and showers. Chao Lay is very suitable for 2 couples or for a family. We also cater for couples or honeymooners who want to charter just for themselves.

We frequently dine on deck, although the comfortable dining area below also provides a perfect atmosphere for sharing the days stories. The boat's library includes references on the oceans and marine life, and environmental issues.

Cuisine aboard Chao Lay. We aim to use as many local ingredients in our cooking as possible. Catering for guest/crews preferences.

Breakfasts are as healthy or as hearty as you would like from fruit salad and cereal to full english breakfasts.

Lunches on board are picnic style a combination of salads cheeses and coldmeats, or as requested.

Dinners are available on request, we are happy to recommend restaurants in the area.
