Shore team and crew

Alex - The Skipper, is a commercially endorsed yachtmaster RYA cruising instructor, RYA yachtmaster shore based instructor, RYA first aid instructor, VHF SRC Assesser, RYA Radar and Engine Maintenance instructor. He has been sailing since the age of seven starting, with dingy racing in enterprises and solos. Graduated into cruising boats 24 years ago, covering 100,000 sea miles, including two Atlantic circuits and a single handed Atlantic crossing. He won RSYC double handed series for his previous yacht's class in 2004 and helped Sobryah the Oyster 485 win the Antigua Oyster Regatta in 2007. He enjoys providing exciting holidays, sharing his knowlegde of the sea and all things nautical, exploring, mountain walking, diving, snorkelling, local cuisine and local culture.

Fran - With 20000 sea miles, in 3 years, Fran has had the fast track sailing experience and developed into a thoroughly skilled yachtswoman and chef supreme. With special interest in marine weather, health at sea, first aid and offshore provisioning. She is up to date with enviromental issues, and takes a keen interest in wildlife and the local habitat. A keen reader, film buff and hiker, good company on all occasions.
